Averie Anne Daniels of Edgefield SC, and Andrew Madison Morris of Johnston SC, were married June 3, 2017, at Jackson's Landing in Batesburg SC.  The bride was given in marriage by her mother and escorted by her grandfather, E.M. Winn Jr.  The Rev. Judy Layman officiated.  The bride is a daughter of Natalia Daniels and the late Jeff Daniels of Edgefield, SC. She is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Winn Jr. and Mrs. Doris Daniels.  The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Morris of Johnston. He is a grandson of Mrs. Florence Morris and Mrs. Judy Lewis.  Brooke Thomas of Martinez GA, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kinsley Reeves Miller of Edgefield, friend of the bride; Megan Dixon of Parksville SC, friend of the bride; and Amber Townsend of Johnston, friend of the bride.  Donald Morris of Johnston, was the best man. Groomsmen were Seth Daniels of Edgefield, brother of the bride; Jasper Moore of Trenton, friend of the groom; and Keith Robinson of North Augusta, friend of the groom.  Aubrey Daniels of Greenwood SC, was the flower girl. Kyle Tisdale of Columbia SC, and Ethan Tisdale of Clemson SC, cousins of the bride, served as ushers. Kellie Winn and Jake Winn of Edgefield, cousins of the bride, handed out programs. A reception was held at Jackson's Landing. They will reside in Trenton.  The bride is a 2012 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. She is a student at USC Aiken, pursuing a degree in sociology. She is employed by the USC Aiken Campus Police.  The groom is a 2015 graduate of SC Criminal Justice Academy. He is employed by Edgefield Asphalt, Concrete & Construction.

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hunt of Greenwood SC, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Nicole Hunt to Leaman Scott Able of Abbeville SC. The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of the late Joseph Clyde and Marian Cleo “Jolie” Powell Coker and the late William Robert “Bobby” Young. She is the paternal granddaughter of Mrs. Patricia Ann Silcox Hunt of Ninety Six SC, and the late Clifton C. Hunt. Brittany is a graduate of Greenwood High School and earned her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2015 from Piedmont Technical College. Brittany is employed with Children’s Courtyard of Greenwood. The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny W. Able of Abbeville. He is the maternal grandson of Mrs. Phyllis Leaman Dorn of Greenwood, SC, and the late Otis Morgan Dorn from the Willington community of McCormick County. He is the paternal grandson of Frances O. “Sookie” Scott Able and the late Walter Shirley Able of Abbeville. Scott is a 1997 graduate of Abbeville High School and attended Greenville Technical College. He is employed with Dynamic Aviation of Bridgewater VA, and works overseas as a Field Technical Representative. Schmieding-Lloyd  - Chelsea Nicole Schmieding of Saluda SC, and Stephen Sloan Lloyd Jr., of Greenwood SC, were married July 23, 2016, at First Baptist Church, Greenwood. The 6 o’clock ceremony was officiated by Dr. Tony Hopkins. A reception followed at the Inn on the Square.  The bride is the daughter of Ms. Janice Berry Schmieding of Saluda SC, and the late Drew Robert Schmieding of Greenville SC.  She is the granddaughter of Ms. Lois Rushton Berry of Saluda, the late Mr. Karl Lott Berry of Saluda, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl George Schmieding of Greenville.  She is an alumna of Lander University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Chelsea is presently employed as a teacher for Greenwood District 50.  The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Sloan Lloyd Sr. of Greenwood. He is the grandson of Mrs. Patricia Fowler Lloyd of Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs. William Robert Brownlee of Greenville, the late Mr. Charles Edwin Lloyd, Jr. of Greenwood, and the late Mr. Mac Leroy Williams of Clinton SC.  Sloan graduated from Lander University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and is presently employed by Lloyd Roofing Company.  The bride’s gown featured a textural lace bodice with lace straps and a keyhole back. The smooth taffeta skirt was adorned with buttons down the entire back. The bodice and skirt were the perfect pair for the architectural mermaid gown.  The Maid of Honor was Ms. Brianna Dru Schmieding. Bridesmaids were Ms. Kandice Morgan Bryant, Ms. Kristen Elaine Crawford, and Ms. Randi Nicole Rhodes. Miss Handley Reid Hite served as the Flower Girl.  The Best Man was Mr. Stephen Sloan Lloyd Sr. Groomsmen were Mr. Andrew Corey Lloyd, Mr. Nicholas John Mountz, and Mr. John Monroe Shingler IV. Master Brooks Elliott Gantt served as Acolyte. CHARLESTON SC - Lea Elaine McCallum and Cooper Lane Lott were united in marriage May 14, 2016 at 4 p.m. at The Citadel Summerall Chapel in Charleston, SC.  The Reverend Charles Lee Moates, Jr. of Greenwood SC, officiated.  Music was provided by Miss Anna Mills Polatty, vocalist, Mrs. Nancy Lefter, organist and Mr. Bill Nuttall, bagpiper.  Music at cocktail hour and the reception was provided by the Jake Bartley Band. Cooper and Lea’s first dance was to “You are the Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne, father/ daughter dance to “You are my Sunshine” by Johnny Cash and mother/son dance to “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong.   The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Deborah Bell McCallum of Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Salters McCallum III, both of Greenwood. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Linda Timmerman Bell, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Alton Bell, Doctor and Mrs. Edward Salters McCallum, Jr., all of Greenwood, She earned a BA degree in Biological Sciences in December 2013 from Clemson University.  Lea is currently attending Methodist University’s Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies program in Fayetteville NC.  The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William James Lott, Jr. of Greenwood.  He is the grandson of Mrs. Jack Cullum Scott, wife of the late Mr. Jack Cullum Scott of Greenwood, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William James Lott Sr. of Ninety Six SC.  He earned a BS in Business Administration in May 2014 at The Citadel.  Cooper is in sales at Fortiline Waterworks in Raleigh NC.  Maid of Honor was Miss Laura Katherine McCallum of Greenwood, sister of the bride.  Bridesmaids were Miss Brittany LaShea Allen of Columbia SC, childhood friend of the bride, Miss Lullie Morgan Eason of Oxford MS, Miss Laura Elizabeth Hart of Charleston, Miss Mary Austin Fox of Charleston, and Miss Brynne Peyton Reid of Charleston. all college friends of the bride.  The bride wore an ivory fit and flare WToo by Watters gown with cathedral train and sweetheart neckline. Her gown was embellished with crystals, lace appliqués, and silk buttons.   The gown was accompanied by a cathedral-length ivory veil with fingertip blusher and her great-grandmother’s diamond bracelet.   The bride carried an organic and lush bouquet of blush and cream peonies from her grandmother’s garden, blush astilbe, silver dollar eucalyptus, white sweet peas, cremet spray roses, blush ranunculus, eleganus, olive branches, white fringe tulips, and pearl strands taken from her mother’s veil that was hand tied with an ivory ribbon and adorned with the bride’s sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma-Epsilon Mu Chapter, pin as her “something blue”.  Best Man was Mr. William James Lott, Jr. of Greenwood, father of the groom.  Groomsmen were Mr. Caleb Dampier Lott, currently living in China and Mr. William James Lott III, currently living in Germany, both brothers of the groom, Mr. Jonathan Michael Scholz of Charleston, Mr. Spencer Benford Clower of Oxford MS, and Mr. Sims Brooks Dozier of Charleston, all college friends of the groom.  Ushers were Mr. Joseph Dorian Klam, Mr. Benjamin Don Gordon, Mr. Cole Donovan McIntire, Mr. Pierre Joyner, Mr. Sean Robert Passailaigue and Mr. Demitri Emanuel Rickman, all college friends of the groom.   Ring Bearer was Sean Edward McCallum of New York City NY, cousin of the bride.  Registry Attendants were Miss Ashley Elizabeth Barnhart and Miss Angela Eileen McCallum, both of Greenwood, SC, and both cousins of the bride.  Program Attendants were Miss Haley Scott Barnhart and Miss Mary Kathryn McCallum, both of Greenwood, and both cousins of the bride.  Event design and decor was provided by Allison Doares of Callie Weddings and Custom Audio and Lighting of Greenwood. Wedding coordination was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Keith Polatty of Greenwood, and bridal portraits and wedding photography by Dana Cubbage of Charleston.  A rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William James Lott, Jr. was given in celebration of Cooper and Lea at Stars Rooftop and Grill Room on Friday, May 13th in Charleston.   A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bride’s paternal grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Edward Salters McCallum, Jr. in Wadmalaw Island SC.  The bridal couple honeymooned in Anguilla.

The reception followed at The Country Club of Lexington. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Allen Ouzts Jr. of Lexington SC. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Sylvia Marchant and the late Mr. William M. Marchant of West Columbia and Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Ouzts Sr. of Cayce. Kaylin is a 2008 graduate of Brookland Cayce High School and a 2012 graduate of The University of South Carolina. She is now employed by Colonial Life. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark C. Burt of Cayce. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cockrell of Cayce and the late Mr. and Mrs. M.L. Burt of West Columbia. Ryan is a 2008 graduate of Brookland Cayce High School and a 2012 graduate of Presbyterian College. He is now employed by Lexington Medical Center. Maid of Honor was Miss McKenzie Ouzts. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Andrew McFall of Columbia SC. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Sue Coffia Wofford and the late John Benjamin Wofford of Clinton SC and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Malcolm McFall III of Anderson SC. The bride graduated in 2012 from Clemson University and received a degree in Genetics. She is currently employed by the Greenwood Genetics Center. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Pickens Polatty of Saluda SC. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Barnie Lewis Turner, Jr., and Mrs. Alice Sease Polatty and the late Thomas Andrew Polatty, all of Saluda SC. The groom graduated in 2011 from Clemson University and Lander University with a dual degree in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. He is currently employed by Eaton Corporation in Greenwood SC. Todd Lane Ouzts and Olivia Derridinger were married were married this morning, June 9, 2013, on a secluded beach in Kaua'i HI called Moloa'a, serenaded by crashing waves, traditional Hawaiian music and a magnificent tropical sunrise.  The trip was a complete surprise for Olivia's birthday. Yesterday we cruised the absolutely stunning Na Pali Coast by catamaran and went diving with newly born humpback whales, spinner dolphins and green sea turtles. Then we enjoyed an authentic luau in the evening. Next up is some serious relaxation, followed by even more adventure and a few mai tais at our little tiki bar on the Coconut Coast. We've been together for seven amazing years and engaged for the last two. Since we're both 50 years old, our wedding theme was naturally "Hawaii Five-O." And from now on we'll be sharing all the best in life, 50/50.

The fitted silhouette was of silk charmeuse and the sheer silk skirt puddled into a flowing train accented with South African lace beading along the hem. The gown was adorned with delicately hand-created champagne silk chiffon flowers and petals embellished with seed pearls and gold threading. The bride and her close friend, Charleston-based designer Lucinda Robinson, created the original couture Lucinda Eden gown. In lieu of a veil, the bride wore a halo of twisted grapevine woven with freshwater pearls and tiny white feathers. The bride and her sisters carried single variegated hydrangea blooms from the treasured hydrangea shrub of their late Grandmother Humphreys ("Nanny"). A reception followed the ceremony in the same enchanting spot overlooking the Charleston Harbor and as some guests played cornhole and bocci, others danced under the moon and stars. A rehearsal dinner was held the evening before at the historic American Theater on King Street in downtown Charleston. After a honeymoon in Paris and Deauville, France, the couple returned home to Sullivan's Island SC.

The beautifully designed contoured neckline bodice formed an a-line silhouette that was accented with an asymmetrically ruched waist featured, elegant silk alenÀ lace adorned with crystals, pearls and rocals. Side gathers formed small pleats at the side that emphasized the elegant fit and flare shape of the floor-length skirt. The back of the silk gown featured fabric covered buttons and matching hand beading and embroidery that extended the length of the semi-cathedral train. She wore a two-tier diamond white French tulle veil that featured a scalloped edge trimmed in miniature pearls and crystals. She carried a wrapped bouquet of pink and white roses accented with stephanotis. Miss Alison Brooke Haynes, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. WARE SHOALS - Krystal Megan Hughes and Thomas Justin Adams were married Aug. 9, 2008 at Harmony United Methodist Church in Ware Shoals. The Rev. Tina Thomas, pastor of Harmony United Methodist Church, officiated the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Rick and Karon Hughes, of Ware Shoals. The groom is the son of Rosalyn and Tim McKinney, of Ninety Six and Thomas Brantley Adams, of Jacksonville FL. Wedding music was presented by Courtney Reynolds, of Greenwood and vocalists Melissa and Rusty Latham, of Greenwood. Kacie Calliham, cousin of the bride, of Ware Shoals, was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Jennifer Gary, of Ware Shoals, Amy Palmer, of Laurens and Sheena Babb, of Greenwood. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal white wedding gown designed exclusively for David Bridal. Made of Italian matte satin, her gown featured a halter neckline and an embroidered bodice encrusted with beads and sequins. The Basque waist fell to an A-line skirt with a split back and front detail, with more beaded embroidery, and a cascading chapel-length train. The bridesmaids wore black sleeveless taffeta tea-length dresses, with rouched empire waists with a tie back. Alayna Butler, of Hodges, was the flower girl. Tim McKinney, of Ninety Six, was best man. Groomsmen were Austin Adams, brother of the groom, of Hodges and James Hughes, brother of the bride, of Ware Shoals.
